What's The Difference Between Koi Naturals CBD Oil & CBD Vape Juice?

With such an infinite variety of CBD products to choose from, it can get a bit confusing to sort through the nomenclature – especially for newcomers to the CBD world. People often ask us, “What is the difference between CBD oil and CBD vape juice?”

First, let’s take a look at the fundamental difference between ingredients in the two products.

Koi Naturals CBD Oil ingredients include Koi PRIZM full-spectrum CBD oil, coconut oil, and natural orange flavor extract depending on the product.

Koi CBD Vape Juice is made from 100% natural cannabidiol (CBD) isolate, food-grade vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, natural & artificial flavorings.

The differences don’t end with the ingredients, however. The two types of CBD products have different uses and applications.

HOW TO USE KOI NATURALS CBD OIL

CBD Oil is most often taken orally/sublingually. CBD often has low bioavailability, so it is usually held under the tongue for about 30 seconds before swallowing to increase absorption. CBD oil usually takes about 30-60 minutes to begin taking effect, and relief can last as long as 5-6 hours.

While not always the case, Koi CBD oil differs from CBD vape juice in that the oil contains a full-spectrum CBD blend (CBD, CBG, CBDv, CBDa) which offers different benefits from CBD isolate, as is found in the vape juice.

Full-spectrum CBD generally requires lower doses to achieve general therapeutic effects and is more versatile in treating many conditions. CBD isolate needs a more precise dose to infer benefits to the user; hence its use in vaping, where controlling the dose is effortless due to the immediate onset of effects.

Users also sometimes enjoy applying CBD oil topically, for cuts, burns, scrapes, inflammation, dry skin, and much more.

CBD oil cannot be used for vaping.

HOW TO USE KOI CBD VAPE JUICE

CBD vape juice is almost always used in various types of CBD vape device, perhaps most frequently in a vape mod or vape pen.

Many types of vaping tools come with refillable cartridges, so that once you have finished off one batch, you remove the cartridge, refill it with CBD vape juice, and you’re good to go.

People generally choose to use CBD vape juice because they are looking for rapid relief of conditions throughout their day (breakthrough pain, anxiety, etc.) or enjoy the act of vaping. Additionally, many people who are trying to kick habits like smoking cannabis or cigarettes in the name of lung health often switch to vaping, which most regard as much more low-impact on your health.

While Koi CBD vape juice can safely be taken orally, it is not the recommended method of consumption. Vape juice requires a base such as vegetable glycerin or propylene glycol (or a combination of the two) to allow for a smooth vaping experience with thick, satisfying vapor – and as such these substances can alter the taste of vape juice unpleasantly when taken directly into the mouth.

CBD vape juice can be taken orally if you so desire, but is not possible to use CBD oil to refill a vape cartridge. Regular CBD oil is too thick and will not vaporize properly, causing potential damage to your vape pen.

IT’S A MATTER OF TASTE

Whether you choose to use CBD oil or CBD vape juice depends entirely upon why you are using CBD. Those seeking long-lasting, all day relief from severe illnesses will probably prefer the CBD oil.

Those looking to quit smoking, or looking for quick relief from uncomfortable bouts of pain, anxiety, and more will most likely benefit much more from CBD vape juice.
