Meet Adonis! - Service Dog HQ Partners with The Big 3 Rescue to Save Dog from Asian Meat Markets
Service Dog Headquarters is partnering with the Big 3 Rescue to help save dogs from meat markets in Asia! We're helping bring attention to places where we really need it, and they need us!
All dogs deserve to live a happy life and with the Big 3 Rescue these dogs are rescued, groomed, transported and rehomed to American homes that will love them, understand them, and give them a better life as a member of their new forever family. These dogs are gracious and thankful for every day they have out of a shelter, experiencing and giving love for the first time.

Meet Adonis!
It's hard to imagine a boy as sweet as Adonis sitting on a euthanasia list, but that was his reality for months in Korea.
He is the definition of the classic Samoyed personality: gentle, deeply affectionate, and incredibly resilient.
Adonis is a 3 year old Samoyed that weighs approx 68lbs.
Adonis is a sweet, friendly, and high-energy boy who loves human affection. He is very playful and would do best in a home with other young, large dog siblings he can play with. Despite his past, his tail never stops wagging, his iconic "Sammy smile" never fades, and his heart is wide open.
Adonis doesn't know he was "on the list"...he just knows he's happy to be here. He beat the odds, and now he's waiting for the best part of his story to begin.
He is currently in Korea ready to fly to his forever family in the USA. He can fly into many major US airports.

Who Are The Big 3 Rescue:
The Big 3 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs from the international dog meat trade. Since 2021, our small team of four passionate women has successfully rehomed over 300 dogs in the US and UK.
Every year, it is estimated that more than 35 million dogs in Asia are captured and sold to the meat trade, suffering the most inhumane conditions before being brutally slaughtered for food. The Big 3 Rescue partners with trusted international advocates to remove dogs from this cycle of cruelty, provide urgent veterinary care, and bring them to families in our area for permanent rehoming.
The Big 3's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home dogs into loving, forever homes. We believe every animal deserves to be loved for their entire lives and we vow to change life for the better of every dog we are able to help while they bring attention to and educate people on the Asian dog meat trade.
The rescue operates solely on donations. Every dollar they receive goes directly towards rescuing dogs from horrific conditions, providing essential medical care (often including expensive surgeries and treatments), nutritious food, and safe shelter.
With increased funding, they can expand our rescue efforts by increasing the number of dogs we save from slaughter and high-kill shelters, and help cover freedom flights to loving families in the US and UK.

Firstly, the best thing to donate is your time and your love. If you can foster or adopt, we urge you to do so.
We are collecting slightly used leashes, harnesses, and collars to donate to The Big 3. If you have old but usable gear to donate please contact us!

Lastly, shop to support the Big 3 by donating some gear directly to them!

You may notice some higher priced dog gear and additional additives on site. These additives are our way of helping get The Big 3 the gear they need for transport, healthcare, housing and more!
Big 3 Donations
You can choose to send a leash, a collar or other related items from our catalog directly to the big 3! Shipping is FREE on all donation purchases and any purchase is a huge support no matter the price!
You can also simply purchase a product to send to the Big 3 from our catalog and send it yourself! Make sure to contact an admin or write to ship to the big 3 in your order notes!
